These directions should help with the most frequently used forms of transport, but please do get in touch with our Reception team if you need more help finding us or arranging transfers.

BY ROAD

From either Edinburgh or Glasgow 

Coming from Edinburgh, take the M9 heading for Stirling (and if coming from Glasgow, take the M9 heading for Perth). The motorway bypasses Stirling and Dunblane. 

Take the turn-off signposted Dunblane/Kinbuck on the B8033. 

Turn right at the junction for Kinbuck and follow the road through the village. Continue over the bridge and you’ll see our entrance gates are 100 yards on the left. 

From Inverness 

Follow the A9 to Perth (south), then from Perth take the A9 Stirling road. You will pass a Shell garage and then take the next exit signposted Dunblane/Kinbuck on B8033. At the T junction turn right for Kinbuck and follow the road through the village. Continue over the bridge and you’ll see our entrance gates are 100 yards on the left.  

From Perth 

Take the A9 Stirling road, you’ll pass a Shell garage, then take the next exit signposted Dunblane/Kinbuck on B8033. At the T-junction turn right for Kinbuck and follow the road through the village. Continue over the bridge and you’ll see our entrance gates are 100 yards on the left. 

From Fort William 

Take the A85 heading to Lochearnhead. Then take the A84 to Callander. From Callander follow signs to Doune/Dunblane. 

In Doune, turn left at the signpost for Perth, which will bring you to the dual carriageway. Continue for about 2 miles and take the first exit on the left, signposted Dunblane/Kinbuck on the B8033. 

Turn right at the T-junction for Kinbuck, follow the road through the village and continue over the small bridge. Our entrance gates are second on the left. 

BY TAXI

We are a 10-minute taxi ride from Dunblane train station. There are frequent interconnecting services on the East Coast and West coast main lines and services from London. 

BY AIR

Edinburgh airport is just 40 miles away, with 40 carriers serving over 100 UK and international destinations. Private jet and helicopter facilities are also available there. Transfer to the hotel from Edinburgh Airport takes around 45 mins. 

Glasgow airport is 45 miles away and transfer to the hotel takes just under an hour, depending on traffic.  

 

BY HELICOPTER

Cromlix has a helipad and landing fees are complimentary to guests staying at Cromlix. Please call in advance if arriving by helicopter so that we can confirm availability.
